Naz works in multiple locations around India to ensure that adolescents in various parts of the country engage in programmes that improve their life skills and increase their knowledge of health and social issues, including gender and gender-based violence. One of the most exciting ways to do this is to bring boys and girls who normally don’t have a chance to play sports together to the One Nation Netball Cup (ONNC).
Playing netball in mixed teams and participating in a life skills programme teaches participants valuable lessons about gender equality and cultural diversity, empowering young people to begin influencing their environments.

Some programme alumni become interns and deliver netball and life skills sessions to the younger participants and take up leadership roles within the ONNC.
